Political philosopher, convicted activist, leftist intellectual and co-author of the best-selling Empire , Antonio Negri is one of the most controversial thinkers at work today. Author Biography

Antonio Negri is an independent scholar. He has taught political science at the University of Paris and at the University of Padua. He lives in Rome.
AnneDufourmentelle, a philosopher and psychoanalyst, is a professor at the Ecole d’architecture La Villette in Paris. She has published Of Hospitality: AnneDufourmantelle Invites Jacques Derrida to Respond (Stanford, 2000). Malcolm DeBevoise has translated books for Princeton and Harvard University Press.
