Nanotheranostics is a growing field that describes the use of nanotechnology for diagnostic and therapeutic applications. The book reviews the recent advancements in nanotheranostics in modern-day healthcare. It also covers the sensory and bioimaging properties of nanotheranostics in the therapy of numerous diseases including cancers.
Nanotheranostics: Recent Trends and Biomedical Applications describes the general preparatory methods of nano carriers for theranostic purposes, alongside their applications in various fields. It discusses advancements in the field of nanomedicine that empower the synthesis of polymeric as well as inorganic nanomaterials for theranostic purposes. The book demonstrates two of the most commonly employed biopolymers in the fabrication of theranostic nanocarriers, chitosan and hyaluronic acid. The content also focuses on various biopolymers that are employed in developing nanotheranostics. Alongside this, it also describes smart polymeric materials and inorganic nanomaterials for synthesizing theranostic nanocarriers and their respective applications. The book also covers the evaluation parameters of theranostic nanomaterials and showcases applications in the field of biomedical engineering, cancer therapy, bioimaging, and biosensors.
The book is expected to be useful for students, researchers and professionals working in the field of biomedical engineering, nanotheranostics and nanomaterials.
