The second version of the Highline retains the same plan shape and rocker as its predecessor, but with an updated bottom contour for improved performance.
This update features a slight Vee at the nose, transitioning into a prominent double concave, with more Vee between the fins. This redesign enhances maneuverability and responsiveness.
Initially crafted as a transition board for surfers moving from high-volume softboards to smaller, more responsive boards, the Modern Highline has evolved into much more. It significantly boosts wave count, builds confidence, and, thanks to the revised bottom contour, makes turning smoother and easier.
In short, we’ve refined the original Highline design to accelerate progress, helping surfers develop their skills faster and enjoy the waves sooner.
Construction: Polyester (PU)
Polyester (PU) construction uses traditional materials and expert laminating techniques to create a strong, reliable surfboard with a high-quality finish. Each board is CNC milled from the shaper’s specifications and hand-laminated using premium materials such as Hexcel fiberglass, Silmar resin, and Bennett foam. Polyester boards have long been at the forefront of performance surfing, offering a progressive flex pattern controlled by a high-grade timber stringer for a dependable ride. This construction performs consistently in all conditions and can be adapted for a range of board types.
