The Modern Highline is now available in our Epoxy Soft construction, offering even more fun on the waves. Our goal with this board was to design the perfect ride for novice-to-intermediate surfers, providing as much support and performance as possible.

Building confidence and improving as a surfer requires catching lots of waves. While there’s no shortcut to mastery, we’ve designed the Modern Highline to help speed up your progress. With great buoyancy for easy paddling, incredible stability for easy pop-ups, and smooth control for effortless turns, this board makes it easier to get where you want on a wave.

This board is all about redefining the early stages of surfing, helping riders develop skills more quickly, feel more confident, and enjoy their time in the water to the fullest.

• OUTLINE: The Highline’s unique outline plays a crucial role in its stability. We took the middle section of a longboard, added a tapered semi-pointed nose, and finished it off with a curved square tail. By shortening the board, we made turning easier without sacrificing stability.
• ROCKER: Featuring a low, fish-style rocker, the Highline paddles smoothly onto waves with minimal effort and maintains its speed once you’re riding. The flat rocker design promotes a fluid ride, reducing the energy required to catch waves.
• CONTOURS: The forward concave channels water efficiently across the flatter rocker, especially while paddling or taking off. The back half of the board features a raised vee with a double concave, helping with smooth rail-to-rail transitions and better turns.
• FOIL: The foil offers plenty of volume along the board’s length, with a subtle taper at the nose to avoid a clunky feel. The full but soft rails provide a forgiving ride, allowing you to glide smoothly across the face of the wave and seamlessly connect your turns.
• PERFORMANCE: Thanks to extra width and volume, this board can be ridden shorter, which is an advantage for beginner and intermediate surfers working on their turns. Experienced surfers can use it for more relaxed, cruising rides. The Highline features a large sweet spot and delivers a smooth, fluid experience, especially in smaller, soft-running waves at the beach or point breaks.

Construction: Epoxy Soft (ES)
The Epoxy Soft construction is a breakthrough in soft surfboards. It features a multi-layer build, including a PE deck skin supported by a thin wood veneer, an epoxy resin and fiberglass-wrapped EPS core with a plywood stringer, and a High-Density PE skin on the bottom. This combination ensures a high-performance ride while maintaining the playful feel of a softboard.
