Now featuring our Epoxy Soft construction, the Modern Highline is designed to make surfing more enjoyable. Our goal was to create a board that provides as much support as possible for novice to intermediate surfers.

To improve your surfing and build confidence, the key is catching as many waves as you can. While there are no shortcuts to mastering the sport, we believe we can help you progress faster. The Modern Highline is highly buoyant for easy paddling, stable for smooth pop-ups, and offers effortless control for fluid turns and better wave navigation.

We built this board to redefine the early stages of surfing, helping you advance your skills quicker, boost your confidence, and maximize the fun you have on the waves.

• OUTLINE: The shape of the board is crucial for its excellent stability. We took the middle section of a longboard, tapered the nose to a semi-point, and added a curved square tail. By shortening the overall length, we achieved easier side-to-side turns without sacrificing performance.
• ROCKER: With a low, fish-style rocker, this board paddles effortlessly into waves and keeps its speed once you’re riding. The flat design means smooth flow with minimal effort to get the board moving.
• CONTOURS: The forward concave efficiently channels water across the flatter rocker, especially when paddling and taking off. The back of the board features a raised vee with double concave to balance the width and provide smooth transitions between rails during turns.
• FOIL: The foil maintains generous volume along the length of the board, with subtle tapering at the nose to avoid a bulky feel. The rails are full yet soft, offering a forgiving ride as you smoothly connect your turns.
• PERFORMANCE: The added width and volume allow for shorter rideable lengths, which is perfect for beginner and intermediate surfers working on their turns. Advanced surfers can shift to a more relaxed cruising mode on the Highline. Its large sweet spot delivers a fluid ride, particularly in small, soft beach and point waves.

Construction: Epoxy Soft (ES)
Epoxy Soft construction is a breakthrough in softboard technology. This multi-layer design includes a PE deck skin, a thin wood veneer layer, an epoxy resin and fiberglass-wrapped EPS core with a plywood stringer, and a High-Density PE skin on the bottom. The combination of these materials offers exceptional performance with the playful feel of a softboard.
