Now offered with our Epoxy Soft construction, the Modern Highline is designed to give novice-to-intermediate surfers the support they need to progress quickly and have more fun.

To improve as a surfer and gain confidence, it’s essential to catch plenty of waves. While there’s no shortcut to becoming a better surfer, we’ve designed this board to help accelerate the learning process. It’s extremely buoyant (making paddling easier), stable (for smooth pop-ups), and easy to control (for effortless turns and precise wave positioning).

This board is made to redefine the early stages of surfing, enabling riders to develop their skills faster, boost their confidence, and maximize their enjoyment on the waves.

• OUTLINE: The Highline’s outline is crucial to its incredible stability. We took the midsection of a longboard, tapered the nose into a semi-point, and added a curved square tail. Reducing the overall length allows for easier, side-to-side turning without sacrificing stability.
• ROCKER: With a low, fish-style rocker, the Highline paddles effortlessly onto waves and maintains speed once you’re riding. A flatter rocker means more flow and less effort required from the rider to get moving.
• CONTOURS: A forward concave channels water efficiently across the flatter rocker, helping with paddling and take-offs. The back half features a raised vee with double concave, which reduces width and makes transitioning from rail to rail during turns much smoother.
• FOIL: The Highline offers ample volume throughout, with a tapered nose to avoid the “boat-like” feel. The rails are full but soft, making them forgiving and allowing smooth gliding and easy turn connections.
• PERFORMANCE: Thanks to the extra width and volume, the Highline can be ridden shorter, making it ideal for beginners and intermediates honing their turning skills. Advanced surfers can opt for a larger size and cruise on it for a relaxed ride. It has a generous sweet spot, providing a smooth, fluid ride, especially in smaller, softer beach and point waves.

Construction: Epoxy Soft (ES)
The Epoxy Soft construction is a breakthrough in softboard technology. This multi-layer design features a PE deck skin reinforced with a thin wood veneer layer, housing an epoxy resin and fiberglass-wrapped machine-shaped EPS core with a plywood stringer. The bottom is finished with a High-Density PE skin. This combination delivers excellent performance with the fun, forgiving feel of a softboard.
