Now offered in our Epoxy Soft construction for even more fun, the Modern Highline is designed to help novice-to-intermediate surfers progress faster and gain confidence in the water.

To improve as a surfer, you need to catch as many waves as possible. While there are no shortcuts, we’ve made it easier by designing a board that’s incredibly buoyant (for easy paddling), stable (for smooth pop-ups), and easy to maneuver (for effortless turns and control on the wave).

This board is built to redefine the early stages of surfing, helping riders develop skills quickly, gain confidence, and maximize their enjoyment on the waves.

• OUTLINE: The Highline’s sta­bility is largely driven by its outline. We took the middle section of a longboard, tapered the nose to a semi-point, and added a curved square tail. By shortening the board overall, we kept turning smooth and easy while maintaining stability.
• ROCKER: With a low, fish-style rocker, the Highline paddles quickly onto waves and maintains its speed once you’re up. The flatter rocker provides smooth flow and makes it easier to get the board moving with less effort.
• CONTOURS: A forward concave channels water effectively across the flatter rocker, especially during paddling and take-off. The back section features a raised vee and double concave to offset the width, allowing smooth rail-to-rail transitions during turns.
• FOIL: The board has plenty of volume throughout, but the tapered nose avoids the “boat-like” feel. The soft, full rails are forgiving, allowing for smooth gliding and connecting turns.
• PERFORMANCE: Thanks to the extra width and higher volume, this board can be ridden shorter, making it perfect for beginner and intermediate surfers working on their turning skills. More experienced surfers can size down for a more cruisy ride. With a large sweet spot and a fluid ride, the Highline excels in smaller, soft-running beach and point waves.

Construction: Epoxy Soft (ES)
Epoxy Soft construction revolutionizes the softboard market. It combines multiple layers, including a PE deck skin, a thin wood veneer layer, epoxy resin, and a fibreglass-wrapped, machine-shaped EPS core with a plywood stringer. The bottom layer features a High-Density PE skin, offering a fun, softboard feel with high-performance capabilities.
