Modelling British Railways: By Design

Welcome to a unique layout planning and design bookazine which takes you through 18 real build layouts, designed by well-known author and modeller Paul A. Lunn. He starts by describing how he became involved with model railways and how to take a creative approach, for a better end result. The main body of work looks at various individual modellers along the build process, some are at the beginning, some at the end, though most are somewhere in between. Subjects include O, P4, OO, HO, and N gauges and vary from micro layouts to large room fillers. All are lavishly illustrated, often with sequential photos, coloured 3D illustrations and over 50 sketchbook and finished plans.
