Misbehaviour and Dysfunctional Attitudes in Organizations

Misbehaviour in organizations can be difficult for management to detect and correct, and as a consequence, the cost to organizations can be high. This text presents useful theories and empirical evidence that help to describe, explain, predict and control both attitudinal and behavioural problems in an organizational setting. The book analyses research, examines the causes of different types of misbehaviour and makes suggestions for remedies and managerial practices that can help to reduce its occurrence and impact.

ABRAHAM SAGIE is Director of the School of Business Administration at Bar-Ilan University, Ramat Gan, Israel. He also acts as a psychologist and organizational consultant, and is on the editorial boards of the International Journal of Cross Cultural Management and the Polish Journal of Applied Psychology. – SHMUEL STASHEVSKY is Director of the International MBA at the School of Business Administration, Bar-Ilan University, Ramat Gan, Israel. He is also an entrepreneur and co-founder of KarismaTech Ltd., Screenboard Technologies Inc. and Polimeter Inc., and acts a Secretary and Treasurer to the International Society for the Study of Work and Organizational Values. – MENI KOSLOWSKY is Vice-Chairman of the Department of Psychology at Bar-Ilan University, Ramat-Gan, Israel. He has published widely in the field of organizational psychology.
