Author Biography

Michael Hankins considers himself more of an adventurer than a writer, but anyone who’s read his stories can appreciate his obvious talent for storytelling. Having spent close to 50 years hiking, biking, boating, and flying to remote backcountry areas in Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, and Kansas have only whetted his appetite for more adventure. As such, Michael and his wife Joleen now use their RV to travel and explore the continental United States. With several books under his belt including, Arizona Rattlesnake Tales, Ordinary, Average Guy (Uncensored Memoirs of a Trailer Park Refugee), Everyone Knows Tootsie (The Life, Wisdom, and Humor of Pioneer Alaskan, Mattie “Tootsie” Crosby), You Don’t know Squat!, and recently released, The Last Christmas Card.
