Lucky Luke Vol. 83: Trouble Brewing

Travelling to the northern state of Wisconsin, Lucky Luke finds a population deeply depressed by a beer shortage that has caused all saloons in the area to close. Desperate, the inhabitants of New Munchen beg Luke to talk to the brewers of Milwaukee. But the cause of the shortage is a strike, and the cowboy is more used to chasing outlaws in the Great Plains than to forcing negotiations between unions and bosses in a city where the first skyscrapers are already sprouting…

Author Biography

Jul began his professional life as a teacher of Chinese history in university, but soon became a political cartoonist for various newspaper, including Charlie Hebdo. In 2005 he published his first graphic novel, and in 2009 created Silex in the City, a huge hit that was made into a cartoon for Franco-German TV channel Arte. Achdébegan drawing comics at age three and has never stopped. Creator of such series as CRS=détresse and Woker (with Widenlocher), he eventually fulfilled a childhood dream when he was asked to take over as artist for Lucky Luke.
