Love Song

This is the story of a songbird who had forgotten how to sing. With feathers of black and scarlet and gold woven about him like fine cloth, he had once soared above the long lost city where he lived making beautiful music for all the other creatures to hear.

But one day his singing stopped and he was heard no more. What had happened that he had forgotten how to sing? And why would such a fine bird need to sing at all?

Author Biography

Patrick Gilmour is a writer for all ages, based in Brooklyn, NY. He writes books to resonate with readers however young or old. The Flowerdrops is the first in his collection of illustrated “Storybooks for All Ages”, of which two more will be released in 2020. After studying at the Academy of Fine Arts in Lecce (Italy), she pursued her artistic interests abroad before discovering her true passion at the Sarmede International School of Illustration.
