The reddot design award winning Lock & Lock Borosiilicate glass is leak-proof, airtight, oven proof, microwave and freezer safe. The glass is oven safe to 400 degrees and will not shatter or break on its’ own in an oven. It is also 10% lighter than tempered glass and will not fog up or be as hot to the touch after being heated in the microwave.
