Author Biography
Ian Pollock’s strange and disturbing illustrations have given him a considerable reputation. He has been at the forefront of contemporary British illustration since his graduation from the Royal College of Art in the 1970s. He has designed posters for the Royal Shakespeare Company, a series of postage stamps, Tales of Terror, for the Royal Mail and illustrated many books. In 2002 the National Art Liberty Illustration Awards awarded him a commendation for his illustrations to David Crystal’s poetry collection, Just like Frank.
