Alongside authors such as Maruo Suehiro and Kazuo Umezu, Junji Ito is well-known as one of Japan’s greatest in the genre of horror manga. His most notable works include Tomie, Uzumaki, and Gyo, which were all published in the United States and have also been adapted to film and animation.
