This is what it sounds like when Finnish percussionist TatuRönkkö comes together with
Efterklang’s Mads Brauer, Casper Clausen and Rasmus Stolberg in a refreshing new project
titled ‘Liima’.
The Scandinavian supergroup has held a number of creative residencies across the globe from
Finland to Madeira, where the songs on the ten track album were conceptualized and made
into this refreshing debut.
II is deliciously melodic and engaging with its eclectic and energetic fusion of drum samplers,
quaint synthesizers, percussive surprises and haunting vocals. II was put together in October
2015 with producer, Jonas Verwijnen at Vox-Ton studio in Berlin, where the material was
recorded live over three days.
