Author Biography

Amy Camille (Mason) Muhammad was born in Pontiac, Michigan in 1971. She is qualified as a Registered Nurse (RN) and Certified Case Manager (CCM). She holds a Bachelor’s in Nursing (BSN) and a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA). 2017 commemorated her 20th year as a professional nurse. Camille is the mother of two beautiful and intelligent daughters (Jazmine & Kiarra) and she is lovingly known as GiGi to her two handsome and brilliant grandsons (Grant & Royce). Camille founded the A. Camille Muhammad Nursing Education Scholarship Award to benefit high school seniors who reside in Oakland County, Michigan, are entering into college, and intend to pursue a degree in nursing. Camille loves to give back to her hometown community in any way possible and can always be found giving emotional, spiritual, and financial support to those in need. She is fond of making others smile, shopping, watching documentaries, reading, and traveling across the globe while meeting new friends along the way. In her spare time Camille loves to cook and relax beneath beautiful sunsets as she dreams of where to go next. Camille’s Motto is: “Do whatever feels good to your soul.” Camille’s Favorite Sayings are: “Hey Beautiful” and “I am a reflection of you Beloved,” because she wants everyone to believe they are truly loved and valuable in this world.
