Late Professor Surendranath Dasgupta, CIE, IES, PhD (Cal. et Cantab.), DLitt. (Hony, Rome), was the Principal, Government Sanskrit College, Calcutta and King George Vth Professor of Mental and Moral Science, Calcutta University.
