Ava Shamban , M.D., is the founder and director of the AVA MD Laser Institute for Dermatology and the Recovery Skin Care Clinic in Santa Monica and Beverly Hills as well as an Assistant Clinical Professor of Dermatology at UCLA. She was the featured dermatologist on ABC’s Extreme Makeover and has appeared on Good Morning America , The Tyra Show , The Doctors , Fox News , Extra , and other TV shows.
