Author Biography

Stanley A. Katz M.D., Ph.D. is a physician who has had residency training in internal medicine, neurology and psychiatry, and a doctorate in physiology. Ira M. Katz Ph.D. has a doctoral degree in mechanical engineering. The philosophy of the authors is based on a common-sense approach tempered by experience and supported by the scientific, economic, and social insights of the medical profession.
