Grrranimals: Unforgettable Land & Water Creatures is for children ages four to six. My goal (with some humor) is to help familiarize young children with the myriad of unforgettable land and water creatures that inhabit our amazing and diverse planet. A few of the notable characters in this A-Z children’s picture book include: Antoine the Angry Alligator; Elvira the Electric Eel; Freeda the Frolicking Frog; Percy the Persnickety Pelican; and Yancy the Yakkity Yak.

The GRRRANIMALS series will include other such works as: Unbelievable Ocean Creatures; Colossal Land Mammals; Reptiles! Reptiles! And More Reptiles; Marvelous Birds of the Air; Smallest Creatures Ever; Fish! Fish! Everywhere Fish!; Creepiest Creatures on the Planet; and Giant Predatory Animals.

Author Biography

Greetings from Dr. Michael Tinnon, a.k.a. Dr. Phineas Peabody, children’s author. Upon completing graduate school, Michael received a Presidential appointment to serve our nation’s interests as a military chaplain endorsed by The Episcopal Church (TEC). He retired in 2010 having served nearly 30 years of distinguished military service. Michael has enjoyed a very rewarding and diverse career having served as: Military chaplain, priest, teacher, child/adolescent counselor, and children’s author. He has written several books for young readers under the pen name – Dr. Phineas Peabody. He currently lives in sunny Southern California, with his wife (Becky) and two lovable dogs Riley and Gabby. He is an active member of the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators (SCBWI).
