Cross-linked polyethylene foam of 100 kg/m3, or hard LARP foam, is widely used in the world of cosplay and crafts as a material for the construction of soft combat and LARP weapons, specifically for the creation of weapon handles, grips, pommels, and quillons for live-action roleplay cosplay and various other props such as amulets or any other rigid element. The main advantage of the LARP Combat Foam in this context lies in its hardness and thickness combined with its lightness and ease of cutting and sanding.

Use it in combination with softer materials for the sword blades, such as polyethylene foam or soft LARP foam, which will allow you to build long weapons like longswords, katanas, gladius, sabers, and knives, among others, to be used in live-action roleplay adventures where weapon hardness regulations must be met to prevent harm to other players.
