Game Overchronicles the life of legendary Harlem drug dealer Azie Faison. Faison, a ninth-grade dropout, went from welfare recipient to millionaire through drug peddling. Between 1983-1990 Faison earned more than $100,000 per week selling cocaine – during the peak of Ronald Reagan’s campaign for “War on Drugs”. Game Overis not just an inner-city gangland tale, Faison provides a pull-no-punches look into the inner workings of drug operations in New York City, the complicity of Hip Hop artists and law enforcement agencies, and the forces that lead many inner-city youth down the path of street hustling. This rags-to-riches story highlights Faison’s climb through the drug underworld, the betrayal and violence he experienced, and the remarkable transformation he made from a drug dealer to an anti-drug crusader.

Author Biography

Azie Faison is a former drug lord turned anti-drug advocate. He wrote Paid in Full, the blockbuster biopic based on his life, and his self-produced documentary on street crime is a cult bestseller in the urban video marketplace.
