Fundamentally Texas

Jerry Harmon walks into Jimmy Van Horn’s office in Austin, Texas, one steamy Friday night and asks him to find his father, an entomologist named Samuel. The young man gives Jimmy five hundred dollars and asks, “Is that enough?” So starts Fundamentally Texas. As Jimmy’s partner, Marta Howarth, struggles with her own demons, they begin to uncover a plot that will threaten both their lives as they look for Samuel Harmon. Discovering where the man went is half the problem. Why he left even after his wife died becomes the issue. That issue will swamp them with religious fervor and maniacal zealots who need what Samuel Harmon is brewing. But whose side is he on?
