New album Faultlines was recorded throughout 2023 and 2024 and is pressed at Scotland’s Seabass vinyl plant and released by label Last Night From Glasgow. The album features infectious recent single The Swimmer. Faultlines marks the band’s arrival in the 21st century; after disbanding in the 90s and going onto different projects the successful 2023 reissue of My Life As A Dog prompted a new era for the band.
The Cowboy Mouth initially formed in 1994 by vocalist Grahame Skinner (Hipsway, Jazzateers, The Skinner Group) and guitarist and Creeping Bent founder Douglas MacIntyre (Port Sulphur, Jazzateers, Kingfshers, Sugartown). They released two albums before disbanding, their debut Life As A Dog was reissued on vinyl by Last Night From Glasgow in 2023. The current line up of The Cowboy Mouth is Grahame Skinner (vocals, guitar), Douglas MacIntyre (guitar), Laughlin ‘Lox’ Allen (bass guitar)and Douglas ‘Dougie’ Hannah (drums).
