Anna’s high school is already complicated. What with one dying and one absent parent she is the poster child for #sexdrugsrocknroll. When she finds herself pregnant, what’s a good girl to do? Not until she divorces and remarries does she meet Ben and fall passionately in love. They spend the next twenty years waiting until the other one is ready. Then, one day, Gabriel says “Hello”. The fictional auto-biography of a child who became a mother. A girl who fell in love three times, and never married them. A woman who married three times, mostly because it’s what was expected. And a person who found herself in a place no one expected.

Author Biography

An obviously fanciful woman of a certain age from a small town in the Midwest, married young, then more than once or even twice, mother of one child, survivor of cancer and Hep C, and proficient at a couple of non-carnal passions like swing dancing and sailing. Her childhood bucket list included college, Mr. Right, traveling the world, and writing a book that one stranger would buy (adjusted for inflation to twenty-five).
