Nancy Parent is a veteran publishing professional who has developed, edited, and written several lines of children’s books for The Walt Disney Company, Warner Bros., Scholastic, Simon and Schuster, Random House, Insight Editions, and Readerlink. Her experience also includes several years as an account executive in licensed publishing. She worked for 20 years at Disney Publishing Worldwide as a Senior and Executive Editor.
Jerrod Maruyama is a freelance artist specializing in character designs and all things cute. He has worked for some of the biggest names in entertainment, merchandise, and social media—including Disney, Sesame Workshop, Netflix, Target, and Dreamworks.
