Born on opposite sides of the world, an American man and a Korean woman, both experience similar bouts with abuse, neglect, and misfortune. Throughout their lives a series of uncanny events and coincidences bring these two together in 1996. Rising above their difficult and painful pasts, they are able to experience true love with one another. Spending their lifetimes searching for inner peace, they had finally found it in their special connection, they were soul mates. In 2006, Don passed away from terminal cancer, but he left a collection of poems depicting the great love he had for his wife, Soon. This book is a compilation of Don’s poetry and a tribute to the unique relationship shared between two broken spirits who were healed by one another.
