Author Biography

Dr. Skaggs’ roots are in a small town in Texas. For as long as he can remember, he loved animals and was determined to become an animal doctor, wanting to make every animal happy. He began jotting down his unique experiences with animals and owners thirty years ago. As a country vet, he takes whatever patients walk in the door, never knowing what that might include. The work can be messy, is often loud, is sometimes dangerous and often humorous. He raises his own menagerie of animals including a million bees living in O’beecity, miniature donkeys including Pistol Pete and Jackie O’Asses, a dog named Einstein (who is no Einstein), and a cat named Rabies.
