Author Biography
YOUSSEF CASSIS is Professor of Economic History at the University of Geneva, Switzerland, and a Visiting Research Fellow in the Business History Unit at the London School of Economics and Political Science, UK. He has published extensively on business and financial history. His latest book, Big Business: The European Experience in the Twentieth Century (Oxford University Press, 1997), was awarded the 1998 Wadsworth Prize for Business History.
