The only recipe book you’ll ever need! Even includes home made beer, wine and amaretto. features plenty of Italian, American, and European favorites… for every taste! Many of these recipes were hand-me-downs from my mother and both grandmothers, but because we did not have exact measurements I had to make everything, writing down the recipe and measuring as I went. Many times I’ll give you a recipe and also give you alternatives that you can put in, depending on your likes and dislikes, therefore making the dish to your liking. And then we also have what to do with leftovers. For instance, if you’re making a pot of gravy with meatballs and sausage, what do you do with the leftovers during the week?

Author Biography

This book is also in memory of my faithful granddog Harley, who watched me prepare and tasted almost everything I cooked, except for the beer, wine and chocolate. His dad, my son, used to tell me not to feed him table food, and I’d say, “Okay, sweetheart.” The minute he turned away, Harley had anything he wanted. Don’t tell my son. At the end of the recipes Harley tasted, you’ll find what I call a Harley rating. It numbers from one to five. Five is the best. Macaroni and Italian bread is a definite five.
