Cherish

Cherish – a book about us is a beautiful hardcover keepsake journal that guides the writer to pen their own story and the story of the one they love. It is perfect for a parent to gift to a child, grandparent to gift to a grandchild or the ultimate legacy journal to gift to a terminally ill patient for them to leave for their children or grandchildren.

The guided keepsake journal is designed to be easy to fill in and is divided into two sections. ‘My Story…’ and ‘Our Story…’. My story is all about the parent’s life and ‘Our story’ is about the special journey together of both the parent and child.

The prompts within the keepsake journal have been thoughtfully compiled to answer all the questions your child or grandchild may have about you over the years and is something they can treasure for life.

What about if my Parent or Grandparent is unable to fill it in themselves? That’s ok, you can fill it in for them and learn so much about them at the same time.

The keepsake journal was created in memory of Shaela’s Dad ‘Greg’ who died of cancer when she just five years of age.

Author Biography

Born and raised in Wagga Wagga in regional New South Wales, Shaela has pursued her love of graphic design through university and began her career as a designer for a local printer. Since becoming a mother, Shaela has fine tuned her design passion towards what is now most important to her: loved ones, and cherishing the time we have with them. Now, after half a decade of having her own design business, Shaela has launched Harpermartin – paying homage to her parents’ family names – and this series of keepsake books, created to celebrate life and love in all its forms.
