Alan Lawrie is a well-known and highly respected independent consultant and trainer. Before moving into consultancy he worked in management roles in the voluntary sector and the public sector. His specialises in strategy, business planning, commissioning and organisational development. He has written several books for DSC including the bestselling Business and Strategic Planning now in its 4th edition and never out of print since it was first published in 1988, Collaborative Working, Creating and Managing New Projects and Developing Your Organisation.
