This single CD is the third and last production completing the full collection of Beethoven’s Concerts for piano recorded live by Rudolf Serkin in Italy during 1958.
During that period the illustrious Austrian composer was at the culmination of his form and these performances can be considered today as a reference point though the immense available discography of the Beethoven’s concerts. The CD content is completed by a gorgeous performance of “Appassionata” Sonata recorded live on 1957 at Lugano radio (Switzerland) .
