The American singer, songwriter and producer Barry Manilow has been making hits for over seven decades. With 13 Platinum and 5 multi-Platinum albums on his name, Manilow has been praised by his peers in the recording industry, including Frank Sinatra. To date, he has sold more than 85 million records worldwide. It all started with his self-titled debut studio album in 1973, which was certified Gold in the US and features his hit single “Could It Be Magic”.
In 1975, the album was re-released as Barry Manilow I with additional instrumentation and renewed artwork. For the very first time since its original release in 1973, the album is being reissued on vinyl featuring the original versions and artwork to celebrate its 50th anniversary.
