Author Biography

David Potter is Francis W. Kelsey Collegiate Professor of Greek and Roman History and Arthur F. Thurnau Professor in the Department of Classical Studies at the University of Michigan, where he has taught for more than 25 years. He is the author of more than ten books on Roman history and appears regularly on the History Channel.
