Author Biography

A. P. Martinich is Roy Allison Vaughan Centennial Professorin Philosophy and Professor of History and Government at theUniversity of Texas at Austin. He is the author or editor of 15books, including The Philosophy of Language (5th edn., 2007)and A Companion to Analytic Philosophy (edited with DavidSosa, 2001). David Sosa is Professor and Chair in the Department ofPhilosophy at the University of Texas at Austin.
