The North American B-25 Mitchell became one of the most effective medium bombers of WWII, overcoming early service challenges to achieve versatility across all theaters!
Used in anti-submarine patrols, desert strike missions, and the famous Doolittle Raid on Japan, the B-25 proved its ruggedness and adaptability. Later models, such as the C/D variants, marked a turning point with mass production and heavily armed configurations, boasting up to 18 machine guns. With firepower concentrated in a solid nose, the B-25 became a formidable gunship, capable of decimating ground and sea targets alike.
