Author Biography

Gordon McLauchlan Well known for many decades as a journalist and broadcaster, Gordon McLauchlan is also the author or contributing editor of more than twenty books, including A Short History of New Zealand and A Short History of the New Zealand Wars. His interests embrace New Zealand’s political, social and cultural history. In 2019 he was appointed an Officer of the NZ Order of Merit for his services to historical research.
