Author Biography

Joni Sensel is an award-winning author who doesn’t mind stepping barefoot on slugs or collecting deer pellets on the way to inspiration. She’s led dozens of writing and creativity courses, and the activities in this book are a wild workshop-in-a-box that will set your creativity ablaze. When she’s not in the wild or with other creatives, Sensel writes books for young readers and adults. Her 18 published books include a Junior Library Guild Selection, a Living Now Book Awards Gold Medalist, a Truman Award finalist, and a Henry Bergh Children’s Book Honor title. Joni lives at the knees of Mt. Rainier in Washington State with a good dog and a herd of pesky elk.
