Watch Us Burn

I was one of those playboy mafia princes lots of money, traveling, yachts, fast cars and faster women flocking to me. To say that my bed was never empty, was an understatement, enjoyed the revolving door of women. My father was also grooming me to take over the Lombardi family businesses, and I was living my best life and having the time of my life, I thought I did not want anything. Yes, life was good for me, and I was not planning to get tied down any time soon, later in life of course. At least that is what I thought until she pirouetted into my life a walking, talking breathing dream.

At first, I thought she was nothing but another spoiled mafia princess, but I learned do not judge a book by its cover and damn did she make me burn for her. But I was not prepared to fall head over heels in love with the gorgeous Chiara Valentina Ricci- Smirnov and apple of her father’s eye. But man, when I first saw her, she was a thief because she stolen my breath and then my heart, yes, and I went willingly it could not be helped. Chiara was all flame and passion, and she consumed me, and man I was drawn in, with her brains and beauty a perfect killer combination. I knew she was a force to be reckoned with, and I wanted nothing more than to conquer the world with her by my side and turn her into my wife.

On top of that she was prima ballet dancer in her native country of Russia. Not only was she a ballet dancer, but she was also the one that would be the head of the Ricci-Smirnov family, when it was her father’s time.

But together we were a five-alarm fire consuming each other like a fire consuming everything in its path. We could conquer anything together, but some conquerors make enemies and punishes bad people along the way. What happens when someone takes what belongs to Gabriele and the love of his life? Especially when Gabriele is the man that strikes fear in many. Will Gabriele burn the world down to find the love of his life Chiara? But Chiara has more reasons giving her the will to live and get back to the man she loves.
