The Witch of the Forest

When life changes cruelly in an instant… Such was the fate of Alicia and Alejandro, whose very existence was marked by the hand of a wicked man: the bishop who arrived in the city to take charge of the new cathedral. Alejandro fell into the clutches of a perverse, inhuman, and diabolical justice commanded by that prelate. Alicia, in turn, was dragged into solitude and into the deepest sorrow a woman can feel in her heart: adversity, misfortune, and infamy descended upon her. From being a joyful woman, with a home full of abundance and the love of a man who loved her with the same intensity with which she loved him, she came to fi nd herself without shelter, cold, hungry, thirsty, and without the strength to carry on.
