This book tells in a fairy-tale form the story of an important agricultural company that uses various poisons to make its product more eye-catching and competitive .

Some minors are kidnapped to be put into the circuit of child prostitution and others into that of organ trafficking or to enter the endless list of children at war. Some are sold to sterile couples in exchange for large sums of money. The phenomenon of voluntary running away from home by a minor can instead be an expression of psychological or relational distress. The reasons that lead to the disappearance of a minor can be many. Among these we must include children kidnapped by maniacs simply because they are considered rude, tearful, spoiled or because some resemble some nightmare experienced or because they have involuntarily witnessed some crime, sometimes even trivial, committed by the maniac. In this book, sometimes bitter and sometimes sweet, there is a maniac who kills all the little girls he meets so that they do not grow up and become like his mother. Maria, a kidnapped child, is often not afraid because a moonbeam can guide her escape and the hands of God can be a safe refuge. In this fairy tale, many animal friends are the true protagonists in the war against evil. Many consumers do not know, or pretend not to know, that the list of possible poisons in foods is truly very long, until someone in the family feels ill with diarrhea, stomach pain or cramps, nausea, vomiting, and fever. Many people die of cancer without being able to identify the food most responsible for their disease. The imaginative tale rides some historical events such as the Fancy Food of the new millennium and the tragedy of the twin towers. It begins in the parking lot in New Jersey of the hypermarket of the most important brand in the world and ends in Scampia, a district of Naples very well known as a true global symbol of resilience. Every year in the world cancer cuts short the lives and dreams of millions of people who are victims of real jackals who pollute everything. The numerous places described were actually visited by the author during his thirty-year work as an Export Manager and university professor of International Business. The poem “Il dormiente”, the sleeper, that begins this work was dedicated by the doctor Elsa Selis to the glaucoma that then took her away. A lot of consumers are attracted by the aggressive marketing of the mass media often dependent on agricultural companies bewitched by some pharmaceutical companies, borderline industries and control bodies of police that in fact do not control. The period of this historical novel also includes the birth of Microsoft, Apple, the mobile phone that takes photos, Google, the PlayStation and the cloning of Dolly the sheep. WAKA for the Japanese is someone who loves nature, while for Africans it is an invitation to resilience. In this historical novel Waka is the name of a beautiful Japanese immigrant in Canada and of a hawk and also of a doll that becomes an amulet against the devil. This book analyses in a fairy-tale tone two themes of primary importance: the kidnapping of children all over the world and the many poisonous foods that we bring to our tables every day.
