Author Biography

Jen and Kevin Burrall are school teachers in the Lake George area. Growing up on a lake holds a special place in both of their hearts. Kevin was swimming and fishing at an early age, and eventually had his first job on Lake George. Jen, a native Vermonter, spent summers camping, swimming and water skiing on Lake Eden. They hope to share the magic of growing up enjoying and caring for a lake with their young son, as he now begins building his own memories on our beautiful Lake George. Jacob and Hahnah grew up enjoying time on the water with Jacob fishing and Hahnah spending her summers on the east side of Lake George. They reside in Glens Falls and spend many days on Lake George. Their love for the lake continues to grow as they make new memories with their daughter and dog. Jacob works as a project manager restoring streams and Hahnah as a teacher. Rob and Jen Spath both teach in the Lake George area- Rob, science; Jen, art. They spent their summers as children at their family camps- Rob in Harris Bay and Jen on Lake Lonely, in Saratoga. Now, they raise the next generation of lakers- their two sons- on Cleverdale. When Jen isn’t using water straight from the lake to create watercolors, Rob is taking the whole family out for fun on one of the classic boats he has carefully restored.
