Author Biography

Michelle Santos is a queer Latina poet and mental health therapist based in South Florida. She began writing poetry during sleepless nights after heartbreak, using words as a space to feel, release, and rediscover herself. Her work is sensual, vulnerable, and emotionally honest-often exploring love, growth, and healing through a deeply human lens. Inspired by the ocean, connection, and her own process of becoming, Michelle writes to make sense of what the heart cannot always say aloud. Sweet Simple Nothings is her debut collection, created to offer softness, comfort, and resonance for those moving through life’s quiet storms.
