Author Biography

Lacey Kolb is a 13-year-old artist from Tennessee who brings stories to life through her love of watercolor. She is the illustrator of Sophie’s Cozy Christmas and Sophie’s Pink Balloon. When she’s not painting, Lacey enjoys exploring the outdoors, watching every VOLS football game, and spending time with her family and their Australian Shepherd, Sophie. Melissa Kolb is a former public school math and science teacher who now homeschools her three children on a little hobby farm in Tennessee. Originally from snowy New York, she sometimes misses white Christmas mornings, but she’s happy to sip hot cocoa any time of the year. Together with her children, she has made self-publishing a family adventure, blending learning with creativity.
