Author Biography

Francisco Galindo is a 21-year-old poet who discovered his passion for writing while at East Mesa Juvenile Detention Facility. With a natural gift for speaking and expressing himself through words, Francisco began putting his thoughts and emotions on paper in 2025-transforming his voice into poetry.

Inspired and motivated by someone close to him, known simply as “R,” Francisco found healing, strength, and purpose in writing. His work is honest, emotional, and deeply reflective of his personal journey. This is his first published collection, but it marks only the beginning of his path as a writer and storyteller.
