Noah Goes To Camp

In this adventure Noah finds himself at OVERNIGHT CAMP! There, at Camp ASCCA, Noah does things he’s never done before, like riding a horse and ziplining down a mountainside. “Noah made ASCCA’s mission statement – to help those with disabilities/health impairments achieve equality, dignity and independence – come alive.” (Dr. Lora Renee Hubbard, DMin, LPC) Noah enjoys doing the same things as typical children, he just does them in a different way. The underlying message of the book is that if we don’t try we’ll never know what we CAN do!

Author Biography

Phyllis Leyden-Alexander was born and raised in New York City. She is an entrepreneur, avid reader, and author of the children’s book series “Adventures in Noahland”. She writes to recognize, in a fun and informative way, Noah and his mom for their courage and determination as Naomi strives for Noah to live his best life. Phyllis hopes that parents and others who have kids with disabilities in their lives are encouraged as they see Noah and his mom focus on what he CAN do. Phyllis currently resides in Pittsburgh, PA with husband Louis.
