Unlike belt or gear-driven wheelbases, the R9 V3 uses a direct-drive servo motor — meaning the motor connects directly to the steering shaft with zero mechanical interference. The result is ultra-smooth rotation, razor-sharp responsiveness, and force feedback so detailed you’ll feel every kerb, surface change, and tyre slip as if you were really there. A custom-built 18-slot, 16-pole servo motor keeps vibration to a minimum while delivering consistent, powerful torque across the full rotation range.

21-Bit Precision

At the heart of the R9 V3 is a 21-bit magnetic encoder running on a 280MHz high-performance processor. With 2,097,152 steps per revolution and an angular resolution of just 0.00017°, steering inputs are captured and translated with extraordinary accuracy. No deadzone, no lag — just pure, precise control that responds exactly how you intend it to.

NexGen 4.0 Force Feedback
