Author Biography

Meredith Jacobs is the COO of Jewish Women International, an award-winning journalist, and former editor-in-chief of Washington Jewish Week. The author of several books, she is also the coauthor, with her daughter Sofie, of the bestselling series of interactive journals, Just Between Us. She lives in Rockville, Maryland.

Jules Jacobs is a junior at George Washington University. In high school, he was the head of the high school advisory committee for the Obama administration’s It’s On Us initiative focused on sexual assault education. In high school, he used his platform as captain of the lacrosse team to create a program that reached other high school athletes and raised awareness about sexual assault, consent, and bystander intervention. Now in college he is spearheading his fraternity’s philanthropic efforts, and is a midshipman in the Naval ROTC. He is passionate about changing the world and proudly led chants of ‘This is what a feminist looks like’ during the first Women’s March. He lives in Washington, DC.
